St Leonard's Business Connections
After a successful first season we are excited to again offer a chance to grow, upskill and build support for our local business community.
What:
St Leonard’s Business Connections is a networking group for local business and community leaders, providing an opportunity to share skills and experiences, and to grow stronger links to the benefit of our local area.
Each session will include:
- A short presentation providing upskilling in a key area of project activity
- Opportunities for participants to share their experiences
- Time for networking and refreshments
The group will meet in St Leonards, Hove, a local church. We want to help you and your enterprise grow your positive impact within your community.

The facilitators
Ibrahim Mikhail is a senior legal counsel for a global technology consultancy firm with extensive experience advising businesses. Ibrahim previously co-founded a subscription based healthy food business.

Jo Baldwin is a mentor and leadership coach. She is a bestselling author and publisher. Her books offer insight into leadership, equality, mental health, wellbeing, parenting and colour. Jo is the patron of soul sisters empowering people.

Jane Robbie is a qualified coach with 25 years experience in the charity sector. She is the founder of the Pearce foundation, a local organisation dedicated to supporting small charities and their leaders during the early development stages.

Peter Childs is a professor at Imperial College London and fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering. Peter has experience from q-bot and bladebug ltd as well as projects in research and education and has helped mentor over a hundred ventures
