The Marriage Course
Refresh. Renew. Restore.
Still love each other after lockdown? Or struggling to make conversation? Take some time out from the noise of life to move from daily co-existence to deep connection. The Marriage Course is a series of seven dates during which couples learn to listen well and communicate effectively on conflict resolution, forgiveness, sex and the wider family.
All couples in a long term, committed relationship are welcome, with faith or none.
How it works
We’d like to bring a smile to lots of faces again by spoiling our guests at tables for two in our pop-up restaurant. So, for sessions 1, 2 and 7 we will run the course in-person at St Matthias, Fiveways (so come hungry!) and Sessions 3, 4, 5 and 6 you can enjoy a special date night in the comfort of your own lounge.
Each week you’ll watch a video and enjoy some structured conversations, jotting down thoughts along the way in your rather swish journals.
“We were convinced that we were already relationship pros and, to be honest, we were quite grumpy about doing it. But we soon realised just how wrong we were – we loved all of it and I can honestly say I use techniques I’ve learnt every day. It’s not just helped our marriage but also my family relationships and how I communicate at work.”
